All rally long it was great fight between Suhinov, Rally, Usvils(with Subaru Impreza N14) and Kochetkov. After first leg Rally from Lithuania with Citroen Xsara WRC 2006, was leading the rally, second was Usvils, loseing 7.42seconds, third Suhinov - 5.34seconds after Usvils and fourth Kochetkov - 24.10seconds after leader. After first day rally leader was Usvils from Latvia 30seconds behind him Suhinov and 6seconds later Blomnieks. Everyone thought it will be batlle for second place, but it wasn’t in the end. One more victory and maximum points for Suhinov.

SS6 was longest second day stage and fastest time for Usvils, second Suhinov 7seconds after Usvils and 9seconds after Usvils was Blomnieks. First seven places didn’t change after this stage. SS7 was very bad for rally leader – lost 10seconds to Suhinov, he said there were three spins. Second fastest on stage Blomnieks, just 0.24 after Suhinov. SS8 and SS9 were without big changes – one stage win for Usvils, one for Aavik with S2000, also SS10 didn’t change nothing is overall, now it was 40seconds between first and second place and 9seconds between Suhinov and Blomnieks. For many drivers Rally Monte-Carlo was past and everyone just focus to Rally Sweden – a lot of snow bangs, triky stages and ice. Very hard rally which this year consists of 12 special stages. In first day drivers went through five stages.

First stage was just 2.2km long, but drivers said it was very triky! Very close times in first stage, but fastest was Dabins with Citroen C4, second Rahumeel from Estonia with Citroen Xsara, third Usvils. 20 drivers was just in 8seconds. Second stage was longest of rally, but very, very fast stage – jumps, fast corners, a lot of places to crash! Usvils set very good time and was fastest one, after 8seconds was Dabins and Blomnieks, 5seconds later Zeltins and Rahumeel, Monte-Carlo winner was sixth. After stage 2 rally leader is Usvils.
